The iconic Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is four-door executive-size coupe that combines the sporty character of a coupe with the comfort and practicality of a sedan. Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is available as the CLS550 4door Coupe or CLS63 AMG 4door Coupe, which offers an unmatched combination of style and substance. For 2009, the CLS receives some minor changes including a new front clip and grille design now featuring only two chrome slats instead of three, 19inch wheels (upgraded from 18inch), standard rear LED lighting and a sportier quad exhaust setup.

The CLS-Class comes in two well-equipped trims, the CLS550 and the more powerful CLS63. CLS550 Coupe is powered by a 5.5 liter 382-horsepower 32-valve V-8 engine. Similarly the CLS63 AMG gets tremendous power from AMG-built 6.3L DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine producing 507 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

CLS-Class is an executive-size four-door coupe having seating capacity of four people. Inside the cockpit, sweeping wood panels, chrome trim surrounds, premium materials and beautiful detailing set the CLS apart. It comes distinctively styled with prominent two-rib grille, chiseled front apron, side sills and subtle rear lip spoiler. It comes fully loaded with luxury appointments like power front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, 6-disc satellite surround sound audio, and doors that shut themselves.

The CLS-class is equipped with latest safety features. In addition to front airbags, there are side-impact airbags in the front seats and side curtain airbags throughout. The car features a smart sensor system for the seatbelts and airbags that can detect and react to accident severity. It also provides other standard safety features including Antilock brakes, 4-wheel disc brakes and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Both trim levels come with Tele Aid.
